There is no logical reason to run, walk or slog for 13 miles. Why did I sign up to do 13 in 78 days this spring? So that I can receive 3 more planets in a mythical universe called halffanatics.com

And now that I accomplished that goal, I signed up to do 28 in six months to get to Mercury, or eight moons. And since I accomplished that, I'm working on 52 in a year to reach the sun!. When will the madness end!!??

Forgot to post last weeks half. Iron MOM half in Paducah Kentucky. I can't believe I signed up for a womens half marathon but they said it was open to men also. Got a little bit of rain on us, overcast the whole time. A torrential downpour hitting within minutes of finishing. Nice little town and run, right on the Ohio river. There is a big floodwall with murals on the one side. That's 19 halfs in 14 weeks, 20 for the year.
