There is no logical reason to run, walk or slog for 13 miles. Why did I sign up to do 13 in 78 days this spring? So that I can receive 3 more planets in a mythical universe called halffanatics.com

And now that I accomplished that goal, I signed up to do 28 in six months to get to Mercury, or eight moons. And since I accomplished that, I'm working on 52 in a year to reach the sun!. When will the madness end!!??

Half # 15 of the year, 14 of this series, Splish Splash Half in Gurnee Il. Man did it seem/get warm. Started 10 minutes late, not a lot of volunteer spectator support, lots of sun. Had fun though meeting up with several other fanatics.
